From Compiègne to Celles-sur-Aisne

The Aisne is channelled over 57 km and flows into the Oise to the north of Compiègne. Upstream, it runs alongside the northern outskirts of the large public forest, then, from Soissons, it is enclosed between two concrete banks, where it loses a lot of its charm.
