SEINE BASIN

In this large Basin, everything leads to the Seine and everything converges on Paris.
And that is not all, because here we find everything, or almost, in all dimensions: the large, the medium, the small and even the very small canal de l'Ourcq; all situations, from the small urban canal to the estuary; all boats, etc.
And then, in 2017, the construction of the large "Seine-North-Europe" canal will begin.
It will connect the Oise to the Escaut and will open a broad waterway – for freight – between Le Havre, Rouen, Paris, Dunkirk and Amsterdam.
