From Seyssel to Lyon (pas de navigation entre Lyon et Sault-Brenaz)

Making use of transshipment machinery, the pleasure sailor can travel on the upper Rhône, from PK 62 to PK 149, and cross long mountainous reaches with spectacular diversions. In July 2010, the CNR (Compagnie nationale du Rhône) inaugurated two new locks that open a new navigable channel of 50 km from Seyssel to Brégnier-Cordon. The bonus on the crossing is at Savières, with the little canal that allows the Bourget Lake to be reached.
